COSTAR is an aid to the quality of your LLM prompts.

It’s an acronym:

  • Context
    • I am the owner of an awesome tattoo parlour
  • Objective
    • I am looking to write a headline and description for the main hero banner of my website
  • Style
    • Write it in the form of narrative and conversational
  • Tone
    • Write it with a sarcastic, witty tone
  • Audience
    • The audience are people who like tattoos
  • Response
    • I want a very short headline, and short description

It’s fairly straightforward but…
